Cool Kids Youth Services opened five new locations in rural areas
MONROE, La. (KNOE) — A Rayville nonprofit organization is expanding its efforts to keep children off the streets and calls itself Cool Kids Youth Services. The company is adding five new locations. Rayville will have three different locations and one in Tallulah and one in Delhi. The program teaches kids about financial literacy, web design, and more. They will also provide free breakfast and lunch.
“We expect over 200 children to be fed during this summer program. We can expect to feed approximately 1,000 meals for the summer program,” said Jessie Johnson, president of Cool Kids Youth Services.
“Last year was a hit for our spring break and summer program. The kids loved it and we just want to get up and show our kids something different and show them different avenues,” said Jordan Hubbard, CEO of Cool Kids Youth Services. .
“They are our future generation if we don’t help them, we won’t be able to have a peaceful environment,” said Henry Davison, a Cool Kids Youth service partner.
Registration is open now and the program will run from June 1 to August 5. It will be Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
